ADMISSIONS
AND MARKETING ASSISTANT
School
of Public Affairs
The School of Public Affairs is seeking a part
time assistant (20 hours a week) to work in the
Marketing, Admissions and Outreach (MAO)office
which handles graduate admissions.
The successful
candidate will have a strong customer service
orientation, excellent attention to detail and
possess a general understanding of the graduate
admissions process (from prospect to enrolled
student).
Duties include: data entry into the
ApplyYourself and Datatel systems; responding
to requests for information; assisting with logistics
and implementation of information sessions and
open house programs for prospective graduate
students; filing and tracking application materials;
handling requisition and payment procedures;
and other administrative duties as assigned.
This position reports to the Director of Graduate
Admissions but also provides administrative support
to the Assistant Dean of MAO and the Marketing & Recruiting
Manager.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
in work experience required. 2-3 years of administrative
experience preferred. Familiarity with Excel;
Word; and Powerpoint a plus. Occasional evening
work required.
Salary: $13.00 per hour.

students currently enrolled in the School of
Public
Affairs are not eligible.
