PART-TIME OPENINGS FOR LANGUAGE TECHNOLOGY SPECIALISTS
SUMMER 04/FALL & SPRING 04-05
Language Technology (LT) Specialist: Provide computer
(MAC/PC) and multimedia support and service to
faculty and students of the Department of Language
and Foreign Studies. LT Specialists perform Language
Resource Center (LRC) duties of assistance with
current computer and audio-visual applications
supporting university’s Foreign Language
programs in a multi-cultural environment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Interpersonal skills and basic software skills
to include familiarity with MS Office Suite as
well as web browsers Internet Explorer and Netscape
Navigator are essential. Creative use of language
and technology such as web development, multimedia
presentations and graphic design is a plus. Applicants
with international experience, foreign language
skills, instructional technology and computer
science background are highly desirable.
WAGE RANGES:
$8.00 - $12.00/hr depending on qualifications
and experience.
