RECEPTIONIST
Career Center
As part of a three-person team, the receptionist
provides front-line support for a busy office
of 25 full-time staff and an equal number of
part-time and work study student employees. The
receptionist assists in fielding phone calls
and greeting visitors (students, faculty, parents,
and employers), and schedules student appointments
with 16 career, internship and merit awards advisors.
Some general office administrative duties are
also a part of this position (faxing, sorting
mail, data entry, copying).
Must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment;
experience in a customer-service position required.
Previous experience in a busy office is a plus.
We are looking for a fast learner, with a positive
and professional attitude. The position requires
dependability, flexibility, accuracy and solid
computer skills. Diplomacy, friendliness, and
a sense of humor will help the successful receptionist
interact with the Career Center’s variety
of clientele.

looking for a well-qualified member of our team.
Hours: Up to 20 hours a week, in a work schedule
that coincides with our peak daytime office hours.
Prefer a start date in August just before or
when classes begin.
Pay: Starting @ $9.00 - $10.00 / hr. (depending
on experience)
