Research Assistant
Kogod School of Business, Deptartment of Finance and Real Estate

Assist professor with two major research projects: “Identification and Performance of Equity Mutual Funds with Excessive Management Fees and Expense Ratios” and “A Survey of Companies Using Real Options”.

Assistance involves identifying companies to be surveyed, developing a database, gathering and summarizing data. Conducting the survey, entering data into SPSS or SAS, writing programs to analyze the data.

Qualifications: Preferably an MBA student interested in finance but others with following skill sets are encouraged to apply: Computer Skills (Excel and SPSS/SAS), communication and writing skills, attention to detail and quality, coursework or experience in statistics, interest in survey research.

Up to 10 hours a week during Fall 2005 and Spring 2006 semesters.
